When not drawing caricatures full-time, Marietta is married to her high school sweetheart and they have a small zoo of rescue pets, including a dog, cats, and a parrot.

Markas has been drawing his whole life since the 2nd grade. Throughout his younger years as an artist, Markas has been involved in a number of mediums such as animation, comics, character design and illustration. But once he reached high school his love of art and animation helped inspire his decision to attend art school to study illustration. After high school Markas attended the American Academy of Art in Chicago, IL where he earned a bachelor's in illustration. After graduating he found caricature art and has been doing it ever since. His love of caricature grew more and more once he got his first job at Navy Pier Chicago. He plans to keep going and travel the world doing his caricatures and meeting new and exciting people.
